Black Lives will Matter when they Matter to Other Black Lives. The Blood of so many Innocent “young”, “gifted”, and “black” men and women cry out from the soil of America. They cry out for justice, equality, and peace. So many don’t hear them over the wind of violence that is sweeping this nation as it cries to “Make America White Again”. As it violently resists the change of diversification happening to our Country. There was a time in His-Story when this fear was struck in the hearts of Egypt. That same spirit is growing strong with this new administration today. "Now there arose up a new king over Egypt, which knew not Joseph. And he said unto his people, Behold, the people of the children of Israel are more and mightier than we: Come on, let us deal wisely with them; lest they multiply, and it come to pass, that, when there falls out any war, they join also unto our enemies, and fight against us, and so get them up out of the land. “ Exodus 1:8-10 The Fear is so thick you can cut it with a knife. Unity among Black and Brown people is to be beat down with every weapon this Administration can form against them. Meanwhile Police Brutality, Racial Hatred, and lack of Justice become the mantle of a "Red Cap” that says, “Make America Great Again”. This mantle is hiding a code of the Klan and Neo-Nazi Groups that have penetrated the “highest” office in the land. As the Administration systematically empowers hatred and division among people who have fought and died for the Civil Rights of this Nation once based in the human rights of its people in the form of a constitution that was intended to make all men and women equal. We have no protection under the law because the hypocrisy of those in power has no bounds and no limit.
The System protects only those of “white privilege”. Black Lives Matter is declared a Terrorist Organization while the Klan and Neo-Nazi’s are called good people by this Administration. The History of these two groups varies in everything but their intensity and passion. Black Lives Matter was established in 2013 in protest against the “murder” of Trayvon Martin and the exoneration of his killer Zimmerman. They March but not with “torches” and shouting racist chants. They March with no weapons exempt their banners, signs, bodies, and voices. Just like their history is so vastly different from the Klan so are their methods. Yet, they are called Terrorist while the Klan is marked “Good People”. A little History on the Klan should clarify this distinction for those who in all their getting want to get an understanding. Klan History further explains the “Republican” Party of today and how Democrats were once the Party of the the “Klan”. Now we have a total reversal in the order of History and the “Republican” Party has now become the “Party of the Klan”. Ironic huh… 1871 Ku Klux Act passed by Congress: With passage of the Third Force Act, popularly known as the Ku Klux Act, Congress authorizes President Ulysses S. Grant to declare martial law, impose heavy penalties against terrorist organizations, and use military force to suppress the Ku Klux Klan (KKK). Founded in 1865 by a group of Confederate veterans, the KKK rapidly grew from a secret social fraternity to a paramilitary force bent on reversing the federal government’s progressive Reconstruction Era-activities in the South, especially policies that elevated the rights of the local African-American population. The name of the Ku Klux Klan was derived from the Greek word kyklos, meaning “circle,” and the Scottish-Gaelic word “clan,” which was probably chosen for the sake of alliteration. Under a platform of philosophized white racial superiority, the group employed violence as a means of pushing back Reconstruction and its enfranchisement of African-Americans. Former Confederate General Nathan Bedford Forrest was the KKK’s first grand wizard and in 1869 unsuccessfully tried to disband it after he grew critical of the Klan’s excessive violence. Most prominent in counties where the races were relatively balanced, the KKK engaged in terrorist raids against African-Americans and white Republicans at night, employing intimidation, destruction of property, assault, and murder to achieve its aims and influence upcoming elections. In a few Southern states, Republicans organized militia units to break up the Klan. In 1871, passage of the Ku Klux Act led to nine South Carolina counties being placed under martial law and thousands of arrests. In 1882, the U.S. Supreme Court declared the Ku Klux Act unconstitutional, but by that time Reconstruction had ended, and the KKK had faded away. The 20th century would see two revivals of the KKK: one in response to immigration in the 1910s and ’20s, and another in response to the African-American civil rights movement of the 1950s and ’60s. History repeats itself and that is why “Black Lives will Matter when they Matter to Other Black Lives”.
